Just made a cart for the smaller / medium sized stuff. It is on casters. Made from all materials I recycled with shipping crates.

Very happy with the 1/4" set I picked up at the store Saturday. Took a few days for them to get it in but no shipping cost.

I'd say 12 years out of the craftsman is pretty good. A quick trip to sears and you're good to go.

It's probably true that the influx of requests was due to being posted on sites like this, but when you offer a sample, you should provide it. The comments above about all the specific info are right on - no way it would be spam. Maybe they figured that they were not request of people...

They should at least email people if they aren't going to send the samples.

I Bought a used stihl 026 from a stihl tech. I believe its the smallest pro grade saw. I run a 16" bar on it. Husky and echo are decent too.

Got one. Almost bought one similar at lowe's yesterday. Glad I waited.

My lowes has the 1/4" and 1/2" raise down at $5 but the 3/8 is still $10. I thought they all were down and grabbed a 3/8. They 3/8 weren't but they gave it to me for $5 anyway.

They have 1/4" sockets for under $5 too. I'm sure you guys already know this, but the sockets I got were made in Taiwan. Some of their sets of wrenches seem to be better than others in quality - I bought a set of polished stubby wrenches for $9.99.

Has anybody installed the lowe's kobalt k-rail? Looks like good prices. I'd like to hear from someone who's bought it though.

Are they always "on sale"? It's hard to tell sometimes at the stores what's really a temp sale vs. a permanent markdown.
