    Cutting trusses

They are not going to spend $800+ of engineering time for something unique that is modified and will never happen again to get your business on something like this. This is the way it works. As soon as you say, "I want to attach some shelves to the truss", or "I want to modify...." you are...

recommend an induction heater (for bolts) please

In the (Honda) crankshaft bolt case where you're heating the head, yes, you're lengthening it and reducing preload. In the rusted bolt case, no, you're dealing with a different issue, and it's the expansion of the diameters this time

Another not new, but... I haven't actually used these before, but since I asked for some Eagle Grip pics, here are the uncommon ones that I have. Yes, the second pic *****, sorry.

Generic bearing press tools from Amazon. Another not new but used a few days ago to install some differential bearings. I've only used it a couple of times and I only use the cylinders since I have a press.

Not new, but I used this a few days ago. After using one of those $5 Ace Hardware plastic conical pyramid balancers for 30 years, and they work fine, I finally bought the real deal a few years ago. I was going to mount it to a 1X4 section of wood, but have just been using it in soft vise jaws...

How are the Anti Vibe hammers?

For your stated uses of punches and chisels, I never use a 2-3lb drilling hammer; it's a ball pein that's 24 oz or less. Yes, I do have 2-3 lb drilling style hammers, but those are weapons of mass destruction and not for driving out pins :ROFLMAO:

Bench grinder wheel has 20mm and grinder arbor is 3/4, best way to make up difference?

I would cut a piece of .018-.020 feeler gauge stock. Or tape on the shaft.

3/8" DRIVE X 3/8" Square Male Pipe Plug Socket Recommendation (Sunex vs Grey Pneumatic)

I have Sunex and they're fine, but mine are older Taiwan made. If you don't get it loose with a reasonable amount of force by hand, then if there's room switch to an impact IMO; an impact is more likely to get it loose without damage to the plug vs by hand IMO.

Big red 20 ton shop press at fleet farm

When did you buy your press? The plates for the HF presses have been cut from plate steel for many years.

Big red 20 ton shop press at fleet farm

I like the construction of this one better than the HF 20T, which I have; the way the top beam bolts to the inside of the uprights on this one is a nicer design. Is it worth ~25%/$80 more for that? Dunno. I'm guessing they'll both do the same thing. I also have a 30 yr old 12T HF that I...

What model? When did this start? I did plugs on a 2019? Outback and it had 6 points. And yes, the LH side is a huge PITA.

Older craftsman top chest 40” full wide drawers model serial?

I going to guess that if they have the slides that they're going to be $20+ each. Unless you love that box for some reason, you will be able to buy something new for less $ that accomplishes the same purpose.

recommend an induction heater (for bolts) please

An oxy-acetylene torch will definitely do it- BTDT. Haven't tried propane since I have OA. Basically, you are just lengthening the fastener due to thermal expansion which then lessens the preload- and the torque required to remove it.

How are the Anti Vibe hammers?

The Estwings are hard on my old elbow. If I just need to whack something a few times, no issue. If I need to go to town for minutes I feel it the next day. I picked up a few Snap On w plastic handles and love them in comparison.

    Flex Power Tools

He bought in when they started out at Lowes, so most of his stuff wasn't at the close out price. So, if you have Flex and want something new, do you keep buying Flex online and hoping it still exists in the US next year? At what point do you cut your losses?

    Flex Power Tools

Dude, please; Flex sales are maybe 0.8% in the US. You don't actually have much credibility in this thread after claiming over and over that Flex was coming back to Lowes. Are they still coming back to Lowes?

I think one of my tool truck drivers has had it with non payers

Running a tool truck has to be a 50+ hour a week job in order to be successful. Because you have to be in the truck 40+ hours a week visiting shops, plus whatever the time in transit from your base. Then add in processing returns, inventory, ordering replacement stock, looking at the computer...

I have a similar hole saw that I bought 10-15 years ago. At that time, it was $100-150, a lot of $, but it was worth it for the ~20 holes I drilled. Worked great, beautiful round holes, exactly where you want, no wandering, NO mess. Worth every penny even for that initial use. Mine came in a...
