I have both the higher torque 3/8 and the high speed (lower torque) 3/8”. The high speed wins by far. You can use both as a manual ratchet to break a bolt free, then the high speed is much faster.

Yes, you frame these off site. 3 1/2” track is sized for 3 1/2” studs; although 3 5/8” are more common. You will need strapping to tie the plates together. You will also need something for shear on the longer walls, metal strapping can work for this.

That’s too long a nail. You need a 2 1/4” nail for 2x plate; with red or purple shot. I never use a powder accumulated tool for wood sill plates; just use 2 1/2” x 1/4” lead drop ins.
