    Purchasing Full New Tool Set

Look at www.drpd.cc (they have a presence on this forum) for PB Swiss, Ko-Ken. …they have free shipping in the US. Arguably the best pricing for both of those companies in the US. Knipex too but at more regular prices. For Stahlwille / other German stuff websites like MisterWorker and ToolTeam...

New Dream Garage Build - Help me not make dumb mistakes!

6000 is what I’ve seen used on garages. Just stick a hose or pressure washer in there and that’s it for cleaning. Sediment buildup shouldn’t be an issue. They sell a paddle that fits the contour of the drain for pushing solids down to the pit. I recall a job in a countertop cutting facility...

New Dream Garage Build - Help me not make dumb mistakes!

The insulated panel systems are pretty slick. I’m doing a detached garage in winnipeg with insulated steel panels. All precut, so the building goes up in a day. For floor drains, check out slot drain: https://www.slotdrainsystems.com/ They are in Winnipeg and have an excellent product. The...

How to make perfect cheater pipes

Most recently I used a 17mm socket on an extension stuck over the handle of my ratchet, worked great. It was not a matter of adding excessive leverage, but the angle of things that required more reach. Clearly the solution is to buy a longer ratchet.

FYI, I ordered a Ko-ken attack driver(and some Land Rover specific sockets)from uktools.com as it was cheaper than palMac, and even Amazon Japan. £20 for two day shipping to middle of Canada.

    Shop floor drains and slope

Slot drain along the entire middle of the building, either across the width as in your 2nd picture, or down the middle. One continuous drain. Then you only have to slope in two directions, not 4. Slot drain type is better than grated, and is easier to clean. Admittedly biased as I used to work...

Anyone got a big torque wrench to rent?

I imagine after x number of days they just bill you for the tool. That is what is done with movies..the last time I rented one, anyway. Blockbuster was touting "NO LATE FEES!" but the fine print was, after 14 days you were charged the cost of the movie. Surely it's the same with tools..
