    New House, New Shop

Hey Xtemek, It has been a very busy spring and I am so sorry to have missed your post. The Runic Alphabet and the Honda Valkyrie Rune. The Rune project is ongoing to maintain the fastest production road bike ever built by Honda. I bought a 2004 Rune new in 2007 when Honda released 50 in the...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT A trip back from the edge.

I think I might have confused you... I just don't have enough to do out there to make it worth the trouble or $$$ to heat it up. It doesn't take but 15 minutes to make it T-shirt comfortable out there. 150000 BTU's is plenty to get the job done.and it sounds like a jet taking off!. This year I...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT A trip back from the edge.

Hello xtremek, happy new year! I see you have not let your shadow rest much since I last stopped by last ... glad to see you have endeavored to persevere with the barn. I like the old barn wood look and the tire racks you built. I have become a cave dweller down in the family room most of the...

    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT My 16 x 24 in Michigan

Nice looking garage... I have always had to share the garage / yard shed until I moved here and put up the shop. I have a lot of space for storing yard stuff in a 10x12 shed plus a 2 car garage in front as well. Nice V8 Vega too... I guess you don't need to insulate & panel a garage in Cali...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Zeph's Quasi WWII Era Shop

hmmmm... tech manuals are pretty boring most of the time but not what I want to read when I can't sleep, I won't remember what I read. I did yard work over the weekend and managed to gain some more room in the shop by sorting and arranging things that were piling up in the corner. I sent a PM...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Zeph's Quasi WWII Era Shop

Hello Zepher! Thank you for sharing your shop build. I read it last night when I couldn't sleep and had to finish the whole thing. I like the colors you used for the motor pool. I subscribed to be sure and follow your CC project. Excellent work and the attention to detail makes it top shelf.

Done... Yesterday I finished the Rune project and moved it out. I managed to get most of the other stuff moved to the corner and out of the way. I love the new look and the brightness but especially the bike lift in the pit...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT A trip back from the edge.

Bummer... I don't know which is worse with bronchitis, the coughing and sore throat or the sore stomach muscles from coughing. Get well soon... I have moved from painting the shop to racing to finish the fall yard work and getting everything ready for winter... I don't care to clean gutters or...

    New House, New Shop

Green was my second choice. Our house is a light mint green with dark green trim. I though it would carry over nicely and I could use the same paint scheme but she said the green trim was too dark...

    New House, New Shop

Hello dcmus, thanks for stopping by and looking at my shop project. I had a hard time deciding on the colors to use so it would be bright and clean looking. Being a grey building outside I wanted to keep it in the grey but not as dark. So we went lighter 2 shades of grey with the maroon accent...

    New House, New Shop

Thank you xtremek, it seems that it has been a long time coming together. The building has been up 1 year next month, 10/1. How time does fly... The AC did very well to keep the shop comfortable with the help of a box fan blowing on low from the back corner of the shop along the window wall...

    New House, New Shop

Thanks for dropping by MPOWERD, I appreciate the comments. It has been a job, that's for sure. After a year it is almost done. Still a lot to do though. I need to run gas to the building for the radiant heat but winter is coming fast. We debated putting the AC unit in a wall but couldn't decide...
