I noticed that MAC and Matco do not mention the COO. I have a pair of MAC pliers that appeared to be a great deal on sale. Turns out they are ChiCom made. I'm not impressed by the quality. I expected more from MAC.

I have the same pliers. Mine have soft brass plates that screw to the jaws. They are very handy to use on delicate jobs.

Home Despot has their 3/8" battery powered ratchet on sale for $55 or less. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it should work well on trans pan bolts.

I always purge the compressor when I am done with it. I open the valve and let it run until moisture stops coming out the drain. Rust is the enemy of compressors.

I made a box similar to this out of 1/2" plywood. I cut a 1/2 ply board to rest on top of the sandpaper and keep it from curling and I put a handle on top to allow me to carry it around.

Turns out I bought magnetic vent covers. They are very strong, as you can see. They are holding up a larger drill index.

How about buying a sheet of rubberized magnetic material and mounting it to a frame? I bought a pack of 4 - 12" x 24" for just a few bucks.

Here's my contribution. Two Proto sockets welded together to create extra deep sockets. The two modified sockets are next to the unmodified deep Proto sockets.

I have a few scissors in my office. Nothing outstanding, except perhaps the Keen Kutter and the left-handed Italian made pair. That's the shiny ones to the right of the Keen Kutter. I got tired of the scissors battering up the drawer of my grandfather's desk, so I made a rack to hold them all.
