As long as you have your license key, you can move it to a different computer. The key word is move. You can't try to install it on a new computer and keep it on the old one.

Licenses are good forever. When you get the license key, write it down and keep it for the day you have to reformat. There are software utilities that will crawl through the registry looking for license keys and create a file containing them.
