Went browsing online after all this discussion - Lowe’s is showing a special of 10% off or so on the craftsman 52” cabinets. Plus my 10% additional for military makes this kind of enticing. Anyone know of issues with the craftsman 2000 series?

Finished up all the insulation I could do absent the mounting of the fixture boxes. Had to get some 2x4s to frame out around the garage door so that the drywall had something to grab onto. Also cut down some small strips to space out the overhead lights since I’m not gonna put drywall on the...

Almost done with the electrical and insulation. Mounted the exterior outlet box and wired it, was able to put insulation on the inside behind it. Still waiting on the siding crew to come and start/mount the fixture boxes so I can wire and insulate around those.

Bought a bunch of insulation today and am putting that up now. Will get drywall this week and pay a crew to put it in this weekend or so.

Yep - passed rough in with no issues.

Anyone go through one recently- have some questions. - from what i gather, no plates on any of the outlets, easy - I put up the shop lights because I want some lighting in the garage, so I need to take one down? - I don’t plan on putting up drywall anytime soon... what do I need to show that...

Passed rough in with a single note - apparently I need a matching breaker on the sub panel. Went ahead and put in all of the outlets. Turns out I’m one GFCI short so I’ll grab that tomorrow. Also put in the overhead lights. This is gonna be nice and bright.

My rough in side of the electrical is done. Have a RI inspection tentatively scheduled for tomorrow
