    Martin 8" Adjustable - $3

I ordered 1 and received the same message last week. Today the mail man brought a box from amazon, I opened it up and found a case of 6 of these wrenches. Same thing happened a few months ago, I bought a box of latex gloves and received a case of 10 boxes.

I'm also now kicking myself, the guy had 3 of them for $10 each, I only bought 1. When I asked him for prices he first said $10 on the ratchet, looked at it then said "oh, I thought this was a torque wrench, it's only a ratchet, $5"

    Quincy Compressor at Lowes

I'm not in the market for a compressor, but today I was at Lowes and saw in the space where the Ingersoll 80 gallon 5 Hp compressor used to sit is now occupied by this bad boy. Now, I say I'm not in the market because I brought home an IR 80 Gallon 5hp unit about 2 years ago that was...

    What kwh are you paying?

I'm at $.092 kwh currently. I had been with the "major" provider of my area for years paying $.155 kwh until I switched companies for the lower rate, my bill went from ~$250 per month to this month is $85. About a week or 2 after I switched I had an offer from another company for $.085 kwh, but...

An Open Letter to Dave MacNeil of WeatherTech

I am happy I read this post. I have been researching new mats for my 2006 Saab 97x. I was leaning towards Weathertech, but after reading your review of their less than helpful CSR's, I will find another company to give my money to. I encounter more than enough people that think it's OK to treat...

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

A couple of weeks ago I was driving down the road and spotted a black hammer lying in the middle of an intersection, traffic was coming behind me so I made a mental note where it was and kept driving. On the way back about 30 minutes later it was still there as I was going back home, so I pulled...

    Matco tamper torx rust removal

I'm a big fan of using vinegar for rust removal, I have soaked plenty of rusty parts in vinegar and always am happy with how clean the parts come out after soaking. I would try that method first, followed by a rinse then soaking in a good oil.

    Too many drill bits

My Dad built hot rods all of his life, he passed away a few years back and among other things I inherited a box full of drill bits. The box has always resided under my work bench and I would have to dig through it to find something. So anyway I am finally sorting through them trying to put them...

    G1K's Triumph TR-6 project - in progress

Subscribed. I've dabbled in Triumphs a few years back. I had a couple TR7's with 350 chevys, and a Spitfire with a 4.3 v6. I always liked the looks of the TR6's.
