Check out this miniature vise. Info?

She's so cute! Ha ha, great find. I'd probably have sprung on that, too.

    C-clamp

Keep an eye out at flea markets and such, too. I found two 4 inch clamps at the local flea/antique market for a couple bucks each. They looked a little rough but cleaned up really nice in little to no time. Just keep your eyes on the lookout.

    The repurposing thread

I had this old, metal cabinet from a kitchen back in the day that I recruited for tool storage and the like. It was white with a fair amount of surface rust.

    Show your Crown Top Love

When this thread first popped up I scoured through all my older craftsman tools to find something to post. I came up with nothing. I have some 30s-40s Craftsman, and tons of the useful V-stamped Craftsman that I love, but no crown tops. Today, I realized that I walk past this every time I am...

    Suburban Neo-Vintage 3 Car Garage

This is a great garage. It's just the sort of garage I'd look to put together once I'm living someplace somewhat permanent.

    PROTO's big reveal 7/9/13

I follow a lot of tool companies on facebook. You're not alone. As for what it is? Not a clue. Hopefully it's something really good and not simply gimmicky. PROTO doesn't tend to be gimmicky that I know of, though. So we'll see.

    Help identifying a tool

That definitely doesn't look like it would hold up to serious work, but might be nice to toss in some sort of a travel bag for light emergency work. Maybe. Probably not. That said, I still think it's cool and now I want one. I have an illness.

Anybody familiar with General bench grinders?

I've seen a half dozen for sale locally the past six months or so and picked one up myself. Most of them were in the neighborhood of $25 with a motor.

bat house..any body have em on your property?

I built one around ten years or so ago, but I'm not quite sure whatever happened to it. I imagine there are lots of plans online. Google is your friend.

Unusual Vise Grips with Interchangeable Jaws

Huh, that's kind of nifty, if they hold up at all. Still, for the average user or hobbyist, these might be great. Pretty neat idea, really. Cool find. I love picking up items like this. At the very least, they make for great conversation.

CMan spark plug socket with original sticker

That is pretty cool. Set that sucker up on the shelf/hang it on the wall or something. Nothing terribly special by any means, but pretty cool that it is still labeled. Maybe that's just something I would do to display it, but I like old stuff.
