They are, absolutely, not a replacement for a real meter. I have a couple Fluke 1AC2’s and a couple Santronics. I turn the sound off on the Flukes when I don’t want comments.

I prefer individual screwdrivers and a Wiha Centrofix for bits. The only multi driver that I use at work is the Klein multi bit electronics screwdriver. I work out of a Veto on a Rubbermaid style tea cart. If I was working out of a pouch, I would probably think differently.

I prefer the regular stamped Klein Kurve to the forged Klein Kurve. I would buy the Knipex strippers, if they stripped 10AWG stranded. That is size that I need to strip most often. I have a standalone crimper, so that is not an issue. Lately, I have been using the Ideal super t reflex.

I think these are or were Wilde without striking caps. They look just like the Craftsman from about 20 years ago.

I have mostly Mayhew Dominator. A local store sells them. I have a good selection of both the curved and straight tip versions. The price point is very reasonable. I also have Craftsman rebranded Wilde USA (no striking caps) and Snap-on. I think that you can get Wilde USA pretty cheap at Walmart...

Malco and Klenk are both better than Midwest. Also… the rebranded Tekton Witte are better than the USA Tekton screwdrivers.

I don’t know if the rocker trigger has a patent issue or why Milwaukee doesn’t offer them. When Milwaukee finally does offer it, Snap-on will lose some business and there will be a glut of used Milwaukee impacts and ratchets for a long while.

I still use Klein pliers every day. The D-2000 Linesman’s, needle nose and D-2000 diagonals. I have tried Knipex and Channellock, but I don’t like them as much. I am not buying forged in USA Kleins. I will buy something else first. They really cheapened the brand when they moved from Home Depot...

If I didn’t have my name on almost every tool, I would post a picture of my Veto. I almost never have to borrow anything that is not contractor provided. Your Linesman’s are safe from me, man. I can’t remember the last time I used any 1/4” threaded rod… hell, it’s been ages since I used 3/8”...

D-2000 Klein Linesman’s and diagonals can cut a lot more than that.

Last night I cut the handle on a 16oz ball pein shorter, so it would fit in my Veto bag. I, then, put a chamfer on the edge. My Vaughan and Klein electricians hammers do not fit in the Veto, so I had a lighter (12oz?) ball pein hammer in there. It just wasn’t heavy enough.

I got the Knipex ones recently, and they have been great so far.

Vessel screwdriver and metric Allen bits and an Olsa bolt sizer.

I have the same Vessel bit set coming on Thursday. I also have the Vessel metric Allen bit set and the ESD (smaller) Wiha Centrofix bit holder coming on Thursday as well.

If I ever have to replace my Wera chiseldriver, that I use for work, I am buying one of those red Vessels. Those are really nice looking. A Klein reamer has to fit on it and it has to fit inside of my Veto. It may not work. The only chiseldriver that I really need for work is a beater...

This will never happen. That would be a totally different tool. They, also, would not make it look like flush cuts. There are much better options for steel wire. Wire rope cutters, aircraft cable cutters…

Realistically, if you manufacture flush cuts… you should not warranty them. The average pair of flush cuts lasts until someone cuts something that they never should have cut with them. How and why could or would you warranty for that.
