I haven’t ever seen a thin jaw adjustable that is made in USA. If you go to garage/estate sales, you can find nice made in USA adjustable wrenches for cheap. In a pretty short time frame, you could have absurd amounts.

Because… almost every adjustable wrench, that is not made in Asia, is made in Spain now…

A year after my last post in this thread, and my most often used sockets and wrenches are still SAE (mostly in this order… 7/16, 9/16”, 3/4”, 1/2”). But I still would not recommend using much of your tool budget for SAE. There is so much SAE out there for pennies on the dollar. I am about to...

I have always connected air tools at regular pressure, the only exceptions are blow guns that I regulate, at the tool, so as to not destroy things like sun roofs and headliners. You can use a valve or a valve with a gauge to do that.

I have never had a pair, though I have been curious if they were worth it. At first, I noticed that a lot of people had the Kiwi branded two piece set. Over the years, it seems that every brand has come out with a version.

Going back to the crux of the issue… what do you need these for?

I have the #3 Impacta, but I have never seen a listing for a Vessel #4 JIS in any of their lines. I have #000-#3 in JIS. What exactly do you need this for?

I can see firing someone, even if it is really just a warning to the remaining employees not to do the same thing… but I don’t see how they could make an employee pay for a lost tool. If I break or lose a tool, my employer cannot charge me for it.
