Thanks guys, I know they make them, just lazy builders. I would love to get a different contractors for the garage but because its a corner lot I have to build it with them (but they are giving me a decent price on it. I might print off that diagram and show them there is no height difference.

Just wondering if anyone has ever modified their roof trusses for alittle increased height? I'm planing a 24x35 (max size I can go) and the builder says they can't do vaulted ceilings because it will make it to tall for the bylaw. I tried to tell them that a vault shouldn't increase outside...
