    Mosquito Control

That depends. On a shallow well, I agree wholeheartedly. On a deep well, I could drop nuclear waste in the yard, and have no effect.

    Cutting Titanium Tube

You should be able to saw it, use a new blade, put oil on it, cutting oil preferred, but anything is better than dry. Don't be in a hurry. You might have to press harder than you're used to.

    Wiring my new building

The ac/Mc armored cable is the flexible conduit, correct? And is also suitable for metal buildings?

    Mosquito Control

It can, just go ahead and do a whole pill each day, or two, even. How it works is that basically, you shed garlic smell through the skin, by sweat, etc. The more you take, the stronger it will be. You can make "social distancing" a whole new thing, if you take enough.

    Mosquito Control

Out here in the country, you can forget it. Go personal. A garlic tablet a day, or even only half a tablet per day, biting insects are no longer interested. Well, except ticks, but there's permethrin for them.

Don't you have to run conduit in a metal building?

Acra glass epoxy.......... Put some on the inner tube, slide it into the outer tube. It will be there long after all of us are gone.

Are junk tools less junky than a generation ago?

I remember when the Buffalo tools truck came to town, and set up in a local hotel conference room for 3-5 days. I think I still have a few things from that company. I remember ripping ratchets, splitting sockets, taps that were cut down by what you were trying to tap. What I really find ironic...

    My new shed of pallets-

Interesting. I need a wood shed, that would work well, without the exterior sheathing, for air flow.

Tapatalk & The Garage Journal Mobile App

Alright, so here I am on browser. Can actually see everything, the app was just a plain white page. I had about 6-8 forums on it, got all but one to browser. Been on it so long, before I changed email, and can't remember password. So, i'll have to keep Tapatalk for it, until I can get that straight.

Tapatalk & The Garage Journal Mobile App

Tapatalk has been kind of a pain lately, and i've already bern thinking of dumping it. If they're selling what little I gave them, even more reason. Just like the social media platforms, like fb, sell you daily, hourly. Chrome sells also, I don't use them.

Buy once cry once 1/4-20 tap

Four types, you left out some. But first, avoid carbide taps for hand tapping, especially that small. Tap types: starter tap, has a longer lead taper, to make getting it started easier. Plug tap, less starting taper, you can start with this, just a bit more difficult. This is the "general...

do we still need 220/240 volts any more?

I'm gonna need 240 in the garage, unless I never want to use the compressor, lathe, or tig welder again.......

    carolina carports = FIRED

Mine is a Carolina carports, went up in early '17. I went for the larger sized and thicker wall tubing, and insulation for the roof. I plan to spray foam the walls. It's been fine so far. I got screwed by the concrete contractor, and it failed final inspection, but I managed to fix it.

    What are these pliers?

I agree on dental pliers. Two of them have a hook on the handle end, which would be useful for pulling teeth. I doubt you'd need that hook to seat hog rings.

    Cutting fluid

The tap magic from the late 80s early 90s was unbelievably awesome, but I understand it's been banned, go figure. For drilling, rigid pipe thread cutting oil is good. Works ok for tapping, but the union Butterfield tapping fluid is way better. On aluminum, a 50/50 mix of pipe threading oil and...
