Legacy HD 322 urethane stays sticky for a long time

I believe he had no choice due to bad weather and the possibility of hail. I would have done the same thing too..

    RaceDeck Installation and Injury

Not yet finished with installing around the lift. With a 2 post you don't want to install RD underneath it. With a 4 post I hear it is acceptable to have it underneath it.

    RaceDeck Installation and Injury

It was a HOT Saturday morning down here in the deep south. It hit 90 by the time noon rolled around. I got up early and started moving everything out of the shop. By 8:00AM my BIL and his wife arrived and he helped to move the remaining heavy stuff. By 9:00AM we were ready to lay down the floor...

    Getting rid of a pool

We buried our about 6-7 years ago. 18x36 unground pool with a vinyl liner. I drained the pool, removed the liner and punched a couple of holes in the deep end. Landscaper guy brought over a bobcat, picked up the concrete deck and put it in the deep end. Filled it the rest of the way with...

    Blue shop towels SHRUNK

They did this a few years back. Been this way for awhile. Still, a good deal especially when you buy them in bulk - like at Sams or Costco.. Which reminds me... I'm down to my last roll...time to stock up again.

    Garage Deck flooring with lift

I was informed by Racedeck that it is not advisable to install a 2 post lift over their floor. A four post is fine, but not a two post.. You simply cut around the baseplate of the 2 post lift. Not an issue.

Alright, I'm stumped. What is it?

I've never seen one of those before. If I were you, I would buy it for a couple of reasons. Its cheap and it would be a great conversation piece since not many people know what it is. If you've got room for it, buy it.

    Do you loan out tools?

All this tool loaning conversation reminded me of a couple of instances about 30 years ago when I was a young guy and went across the street to borrow my neighbor's van to make a run to the local lumberyard. As I was backing out (and mind you, I was not used to driving a full size van), I...

    RaceDeck Transition Issue

Would love to accommodate you but I am waiting for the weather to warm up a bit first. Plus I've somehow got to coordinate getting everything out of the garage (including a dead vehicle) before I can begin. At the very least, I was trying to anticipate how it would look before actually getting...

Cheap smoke machine for EVAP codes

A cigar. I know that sounds a little crazy, but it works. We used to have a Supercharged Buick that threw a code and I couldn't figure out what it was and I didn't have a fancy smoke machine, so I tried to rig one up with Dry Ice. That one failed miserably. Next I tried a cigar. I don't smoke...

I made a video about my garage

Jack - will you come to Alabama and design my garage interior for me? Excellent job and my hat is off to you for your vision in how you wanted your garage to work for you..

The latter. Used my Dremel to cut off the bottom of the door track so the tile can easily slide underneath.

    RaceDeck Transition Issue

If I start with full width pieces at the back wall, I will end up with a full piece (12x12) at the garage door. Just about perfect. But to use the transition pieces, I will have to cut the ones at the back wall to make it work. The decision is to either cut the back wall ones and use the...

    RaceDeck Transition Issue

OK, I think I've got it figured out. I am going to have to cut the row of tiles that will lay against the back wall 3-3.5 inches anyway to allow for the transition pieces to lay in front of the garage door. This should give me the extra pieces necessary to fill in at the front part of the garage...

    RaceDeck Transition Issue

Ordered and received Racedeck with the 3 inch black transition pieces for my garage door opening and I ran into an issue that I hadn't considered when I did my layout pattern on RaceDeck's website. The issue is the 3 inch transition pieces. If you use them, then your tiles outside of the...

    Race Deck sliding issue

Can you expand on your last statement a little? What rubber underlayment are you using and how is this going to solve the issue? Also, how does the wheel stop and the waterlip contribute to the floor sliding??

Anyone have experience with cornrowing carpet?

Never seen this before and it makes me wary of buying new carpet now! I hope you find a resolution to your problem, but if the carpet manufacturer doesn't acknowledge it is an issue, I don't know what recourse you will have other than removing it and going with a different style carpet...
