Help mounting 3/4" conduit to hollow wall

I bought a new compressor and started to lay out my conduit this weekend. The problem is, I have a steel building and there is no structure where I am wanting to mount it. I covered the insulation with galvanized corrugated sheet material, bu the span is too far apart. I need to mount a J box...

What is the best solution for an existing, well used concrete floor?

My shop is a well used hot rod builder shop. No show shops here. Oil, grease, welding slag, grinder dust etc. It's stained and ugly. I would like to make it more presentable, if possible. I am adding all LED lighting and figure now is the time, in between builds. I have looked at Hellfire...

So, things are fixing to change, new shop in the future

Well, bad news for the Roothawg Ranch. It all went south. I started looking at the property lines and noticed some infringements based on the county survey. There were sheds on the property line etc. We didn't want to go down that road, so we retracted our offer. It *****, but everything...

    Poor man's DIY polished concrete

Well that answers one of my questions. I was pondering doing this on a future building we are planning. It's gonna be 5-6K sf. I was thinking I might rent a burnisher and try it. 40 hours is a lot of rental time.

So, things are fixing to change, new shop in the future

It depends. We have to do the math on what works best. I would like to have it under one roof, she thinks it will look like the Amazon warehouse. I have quotes on 60x100 right now. If I have to do separate buildings, I may have to scale it back to 50x80.

Door placement and management of wall space

I am in the planning stages of our new shop. I am trying to decide if the placement of doors on the long side is a bad idea. I am looking at a 60x100 with 4 ea 16'x12' doors on the long side. I see a lot of guys putting the doors in the gable end. Is there a reason for this? Just...

So, things are fixing to change, new shop in the future

The good thing is that around here shops sell houses. Every house I have ever listed sells in the first week. The husband wanders out to the shop while the wife tours the house. I just try and fix the things I should have done on the last one.

So, things are fixing to change, new shop in the future

So, for the last few years we have been searching for a lot that would allow us to do the things we want. We think we finally found one. It's a 2.5 acre lot about 500 feet outside of the city limits. This allows us to build any style or size of shop we want. Probably will be making an offer...
