    Here's another question about concrete floor coating/covering.

    I think I would go the rubber mat approach. Perhaps add some mineral oil to the floor drain trap so it doesn’t dry out and stink the space.

    If you have to get in the ditch for any reason, wider will be better. I would use the 12” bucket you have. Run fiber for comm since it’s in the same ditch and no separation (noise interference). Also fiber is better against lightning.

    What is your soil like? If nice soil you could rent a trencher. I think I had a 16” when I trenched to the barn. Machine was free weekend rental.

    I like that locking grip type pipe wrench! I have never seen that before. I have some Vice Grip styles for pipes. Couple different sizes look like this.
