Just got an email and decided to try this style. I have and like the Ideal style, but you gotta line up the wire with the proper size on the anvil. Giving this style a go, plus made in Germany. Any experience with this style and especially with whoever makes it for Tekton...

I got this one after seeing that brand on SMA. The articulating is freaking sweet....had a Subi come in with ZERO compression and like 90% leak down.....actually saw the cracked valve with that camera before we tore into it...

He's talking friction slides, not ball bearing or rollers.

I use a dry graphite spray lube in my SO friction slides.

They are worth every penny though, totally worth it.

I have Tekton in torx and hex impact so I can absolutely whale on it with the impact and know that a replacement is just an email away.

Our screwed on metal fasteners lasted 30 years....that said we had standing seam put on last year when they started to fail. Roof material was good, just too many screws backing out. Standing seam is king up here, but then again we get lots of snow.
