    HVAC venting

Just moved my daughter into a high rise condo downtown. Never lived in something like that. The HVAC is in a large closet. But there are no vents into the closet which to me is crazy. Shouldn’t there be some vents? Any help is much appreciated.

JB Weld for the windshield reservoir?

About two months ago I pulled the washer tank out of my 2005 Mercedes. Small crack was causing leak. I used JB water weld. Still holding. So that cost me about a buck versus a new one for big bucks or even a used one for $100 on eBay.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Looked though a dozen posts or so trying to find some info. No luck. Found this craftsman today when I went to my mother in laws house to patch a hole in her shed roof. Of course she didn’t want it. Or really anything in the shed. Any idea how old it is?

Old matco and Gerstner toolbox worth and some odd tools

All depends on how quickly they want to sell the stuff. I have purchased Matco boxes like that in the past for $100 per box. But I only was able to get top and middle boxes. So maybe a bit more for the bottom box.

    Icon Ratchets?

I agree with you about opening the ratchet and oiling. That’s what I do. But I saw on internet a guy who said he just soaks the head in transmission fluid every once in awhile. And then no need to open it and oil it. What thoughts do you all have about that idea?

Can this garage door torsion tube be reused?

Not a fan of the torsion tube. Had a Wayne Dalton setup with a tube. It didn’t last long. When it broke I had a guy take it down. Throw it away and put in springs. No tube.

    Sockets!: Need to start over - 1/4 - 3/8 - 1/2"

I have tekton deep impacts that have worked fantastic for me. I also have a set of power built. Made in Taiwan. But have served me well for over 15 years. I don’t see many folks talking power built on the forum. I like them for the value.
