Yeah I considered that too. But with my garage only being like 16x20 and fairly full, I liked the idea I’d not having to tip it one way or the other. I imagine there’ll be some trial and error to see what works best.

Two of the wheels on each stand lock and they’ll be on the user side of the stand. If that Doesn’t work like I plan, I might build a wooden base with a bigger footprint and attach it with wood screws.

Finally started building the stands for my bench grinder and belt sander. Still need to cut out and weld the bases for the grinders. I welded one with cursive c’s and the other one, I put on my big Jack stands and did downhill weaves.

Stored my wife’s outdoor rugs out there for the time being and marked some metal for cutting this weekend so I can build my sander and grinder stands.

I have both the 5 drawer tool cart and the 1st gen 44" tool box. The only "issue" I have with the cart is that it can't fit the large Hansen socket trays oriented front to back. I did add a second pair of swivel casters which helped immensely with moving it around my small garage. The one thing...

Installed the last oil gallery plug in my 351 Windsor and stacked some metal I picked up so I can finish the stands for my belt sander and bench grinder later this week. Also let my 1.5 year old son walk around and look at stuff, plus let him roll the engine over on the stand with the gear drive.

Installed most of the oil galley plugs in my engine block then wrapped the block in a bag for the time being.

Yeah after seeing that, I no longer thing I have a gap in my impact power ranges.

Organized my main tool cart to the point that I think I’m happy with it. Also cleaned a set of impact sockets I found. It’s old but good ****. SK 5/16”-7/8” and Snap-On 15/16” and 1”.

I’d grab a used Armstrong Maxx 88 from eBay. Just looked at there’s plenty for under $50 shipped. I have the 3/8”. Had the 1/2” but it was stolen from work. But they’re great ratchets and strong. Love them. Also, Carlyle ratchets are decent, also.

Reorganized some parts, finally bought a space heater for garage and put that to use, and got some paint on my engine block.

Did a **** ton of cleaning, sold off a Ford 302 short block, moved a shelving, reorganized all my new truck parts, threw away a bunch of stuff that I haven’t used in 5 years. Looks so much better in there.

Now that I can believe. I grew up using corded Dewalt almost exclusively. It was pretty much the preferred brand of every general contractor, my dad included.
