I have the Snap on and I just ordered online the HF ones. I do not turn wrenches at all like I use to but still from time to time. MY F100 has some stuff needing done plus both of our daily drivers, just trying to wait on a warm up.

I have all the styles but I prefer the metal handle, almost always go for them. Now If I have an engine on the stand and doing tare down or building I go for the comgort grip. When working in a engine bay for example space is more tight and that is my thought process.

The combo Reed vises are more sought after and since the size in the 2 is so small go with the 1C. If not good enough sell to fund the vise you want / need.

What type of work do you do? But if we are talking these 2 choices I would go the 1C. The .5 is not huge difference.

Those are all good vises to own. The 1C has pipe jaws. My money would be on the 1C.

I did clean it up a lot, the metal was rusty and I blued the anvil and sides of the jaws.

Here are 2 of mine, the C0 is original from the 70's and the 835 I restored it. The reason I restored the 835 was the previous owner painted silver but if it still had that look like my C0 I would of never messed with it.
