I would wipe it down with some light oil to get the rust off and even wipe the painted areas before going full resto on it. It took almost 80 years for those battle marks. :)

While I'm no expert on these, that is a nice early made Bullet. From what I have read right here on GJ the Chicago make it early made but after the fish hook style I think. The experts will be chiming in to save me. :)
Man I almost bought one of these about a year ago but found it tough to spend $800 for it, plus a very long drive. Closer I might have went for it. I just want one of these Reed vises, 1C, 2C, 3C or 4C. Condition is everything though.
Most companies are going this way now, the industry has changed for sure. To be honest I'm surprised all these tool companies had these warranties all these years.

C0 or 835 3 1/2 bullet parts needed. I ended up using my parts gathered to restore a 835 bullet for my cousin. I still need.
I need the spindle/screw, nut and the tail cap and a swivel base.
