wierd, so Knipex keeps the same model numbers but changes the part? so how do you know if you have a current model or and old one. I wonder why they dont give it a new part number or add a letter to designate a new version.

yeah its a countersink. I have one and its much better then the fluted types. it leaves a clean hole with no chatter. I use it for countersinking holes in wood as it leaves a clean hole.

I use 10-24 all the time when making up small stuff like brackets or mounts for small items. 10-24 is more common then 10-32. I don't think I've seen it very often in manufactured things, but if you want to mount something small its a good size to have.

sorry galwayn, no idea. I must have bought mine 20 years ago. I highly recommend you get one with the banana plug shrouds in place for safety reasons. don't want to be accidentally shorting the outlet.

It the wire gets hung up lube it up. I spray on some lubricant, corrosion block (like wd40) and it slides right in. The zip tie is soft so it won't pierce the harness like a coat hanger could.
