Head of a bit broke off inside my Makita impact driver, and for the life of me, I can’t get it out. Tried everything I can think of with no luck. Figure it must be bound up pretty good. Too deep in to weld to it. Anybody have a solution you’ve found to work other than sending it in to Makita?

The casing/trim assembly is just sitting in there for the picture, it’s not attached yet. I have 15 windows to trim out. I’ll put the finish on before I install them in place.

I went 16’ ceilings on my 56’x56’ shop and don’t regret it. Resale, if need be, will be higher. Allowed me to use 14’ high doors, to bring in anything road legal. Allows the kids to play basketball in there as well.
