There are two ways to go with the install.Sweeping and scraping off the flakes will leave a smooth,flatter finish but is slippery when wet.Or just sweeping the flakes which will give you a textured finish. I agree you definitely need another top coat.

I believe the one with the cylinder on my 8000 lb lift was around 480 lbs
