    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

The 50" was around $10 in my store...now a 50', I'm not sure, I don't think I have a trailer long enough to haul that home anyway.

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

Was $14.98 here, but I passed, picked up 2 drill press vises and 2 wood vises, ~$6.50 each.

    Mini jumper pack

What's the difference between the Powerall Deluxe you ordered and the $99 Poweralls linked above? I've been considering one of these, I like the PowerAll's casing, but it doesn't have the 19,12,5v outputs like many of the other copies do. I'm leaning towards the Antigravity XP-1/PPS for it's...

    Working Hot

About the dumbest analogy I've seen...As a FF/EMT, you can be damn sure I will inconvenience as many people as I feel I need to, to insure 1. My safety, 2. My team's safety, 3. The victim's safety and 4. Property. Would I dive into an unstable car that could shift and crush me or one of my...

help with doe craftsman wrench i havent seen before

Showed up as 23.39 for me. Well... Some methods of adjusting is done with the engine running, most people don't like their hands that close :eyecrazy: But some other methods require the engine to be at operating temp and use a feeler gauge, so I guess a short wrench would have your hand closer...

Adding a ceiling fan in garage, wiring question.

I'm not really worried about the situation of turning one bank of lights off and leaving the other on for light to be able to work on it. I have plenty of work lights I can plug into the wall and aim wherever I need the light, as well as the two garage door opener lights. I don't really see the...

Adding a ceiling fan in garage, wiring question.

Thanks. I considered branching off the outlets my garage doors are on, separate 15A circuit, and using a remote fan controller, but the fan I am looking at includes it's own wall mounted speed controller, with 4 speeds vs the normal 3 on most remote controls. I really have no desire to...

Adding a ceiling fan in garage, wiring question.

I'm looking to add a ceiling fan in my garage to get some air moving. There is an unfinished bonus room/attic above the garage, so I'll just have to pull up some OSB flooring to mount the box, no biggie there. I just want to check and be sure my plan for the wiring is sound. Right now I have...

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2014

LOL those are the biggest piles of ****. The near useless measuring tape is in the handle. My wife's grandparents bought me, my father in law, and my brother in law a set for Christmas. I looked at it as Yippee! I get to take them back for $15 or so in store credit! Next thing I know, I look...

    Dewalt keyless chuck slips

Should be mentioned that the screw is left hand thread, and I have always just chucked the allen wrench, laid the drill on the floor and pulled the trigger, the impact of the allen smacking the ground knocked it loose without having to go grab a hammer.
