What did you do "IN" your garage today?

No, but I did redesign them to make install a little easier about a year ago.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Haven't done much in my garage, I've been very busy with work getting set up for our new facility. But here are a few projects I recently finished up in the garage I work in. Mailbox and sign I designed and built. Sign is 3D and layered with brushed stainless and powdercoated parts...

Has anyone with a local discount tire store had any luck with them matching prices from this deal?

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Anyone run across a coupon for the 30" pedestal fan? Also I noticed these are not listed online anymore, before I make a run to the store 30mi away, they do still sell them right?

    New Irwin Locking Multi Pliers

Same here, in EDC I carry a leatherman squirt, and those little pliers do get used a lot, but this is way too big for EDC, and I would never reach for it in the shop over a dedicated tool, but in my bunker gear I keep all sorts of multitools and a serrated/combo folding knife because you never...

    Heavy Duty Screwdrivers

I have those Stanleys, probably almost 10 years, and they have held up very well. As far as a Phillips head, they have come in handy a few times, such as tapping it down into a paint filled phillips head screw, and also a few impact blows on a screw can free it up when removing it.

    Best Vent-less gas logs

I'm interested too, two years in our house with a ventless fire box, but no logs, wife really wants them in before this winter. I'm not sure it would be a big issue, it gets really dry around here in the winter, when I was a kid with the woodstove we always boiled a few pots of water on top to...

4 inch diameter aluminum intake tube recommendations

I've ordered from here with good luck before: http://www.siliconeintakes.com/aluminum-pipes/ If you don't want it polished, 1 minute with a red scotchbrite pad will leave a nice brushed finished.

hauling trash cans on a long driveway

I do the same, 1,300 ft long gravel drive, always just hook it over the trailer ball, the weight of the can keeps it on there. Been doing it for years and have yet to have it fall off, or wear out the wheels. I just typically keep it under 10mph. Otherwise I just ride the fourwheeler, drive...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I've done several of those, always the same with a badly corroded sensor in the rear. An easy job, but a tedious one. Looks like you replaced the harness while you were in there? Good idea, they tend to corrode as well. Did you leave the foam "dams" out as well?

    Burying Downspouts

Downspouts are buried at a slight angle, towards the pop ups. As water fills up the elbow they are mounted in; the "cap" floats up and lets the water out, once the water stops flowing gravity lets the cap settle back into place.

Custom fabricated a part for a handicap girl

Fantastic job! Looks great and I'm sure they are happy. Funny coincidence, I was vacationing at the beach a couple weeks ago, driving down the road after eating lunch and I noticed a young handicapped gentleman on a very similar trike, who didn't have the leg power to make it up a slight hill...

garage stereo - ideas or post your setup

Couple of Kenwood 6.5 coax car speakers mounted in the headlight buckets of a 65 C10 grille, a Infinity 12" subwoofer powered by a Dayton plate amp, hooked up to a Sony mini system with bluetooth. Nothing hifi for sure, but it does the job. IMAG1087[1] by Garrett, on Flickr

    A Fresh Start-My first garage 36x30

Not many changes, did some cleaning and threw a few more things up on the wall. Next is to add some storage shelves to get some of that stuff piled in the corner up. 2015-09-14_12-21-26 by Garrett, on Flickr IMAG1088[1] by Garrett, on Flickr IMAG1087[1] by Garrett, on Flickr IMAG1086[1] by...
