    My 4'x7' Trailer Build Thread

Does that include the tongue length? If not, you could make some form of extending tongue with a support bracket. Then when you need to haul longer material, extend the tongue and slide the material under the front crossbar of the trailer, to rest on the support bracket. The dimensions of the...

    MP&C Shop Projects

Once again, I am amazed at your ability - not just to make the part - but to make the tool you need to make the part! Nice work!

What adhesive for plastic interior van door panel repair?

Could you "weld" them using a soldering iron? I've heard with some plastics (not sure exactly which ones) you can mix some shavings with a solvent such as acetone, allowing it to melt the shavings and produce a sticky paste, which you may then be able to use as a glue. Are these hooks visible...

Show us your firewood sheds & racks

I reused the metal roofing and the posts from a swingset/playhouse to build this this weekend: I still need to get one more board to hold the pallets on the left wall before I can say it's completely done. 7'3" wide by 8' deep, and ~5' tall in the back to ~7' tall in the front.

Depending on where you're camping, you may be able to pick up Over-The-Air TV signals with a simple antenna. If you know the address of where you'll be, you can look it up here to see what is available and what direction to point the antenna: http://tvfool.com/

    My 1975 Chevy Dually Build

Definitely looks better with it! It adds just the right amount of accent to break up the blue.

I'm constantly amazed at the reproductions you do. Nice work once again! Why did you pick the pullmax to do this step profile over the bead roller? Is it easer/faster/more consistent? The reason I ask is because I recently picked up a (cheap) bead roller and I'm trying to better understand its...

    Knives & blacksmithing and more

I'm not forging, just doing stock removal, but I'm pretty proud of this one. This is the first knife I've made (excluding the practice one using a piece of scrap steel - just to learn the process) It is made of O-1 tool steel, and is sort of modeled after the ESEE 4. I just finished it last...

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

I don't have one, and have never used one of these lifts, so I apologize if this is not possible: Could you just raise both, and then release the safety locks on just one and lower it?

I was planning to do a receiver mount on my bench too, and I found Harbor Freight has these step bumper receiver mounts: It may cut down on time to fab them if the premade ones would do what you'd like. I bought one, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet.
