Romex in new Pole Barn Construction??

I had that thought, but only 2 circuits will be to the far wall. & that is only 30' of extra wire to get them there above the ceiling- not that big a deal. Most likely a wash on cost.

Romex in new Pole Barn Construction??

It will be a shop & storage, no animals with the exception of the owner. NO interior girts will be present, I'm placing 2x6 bookshelf girts so the 3/4 ply will be mounted to the interior surface of the poles & 2x6's. That 3" is important space ;) I'm thinking 3/4" holes through the center of...

Romex in new Pole Barn Construction??

I found a thread from many years ago on running romex in a Pole Building, which really didn't give any direct answers. I know almost all is determined by what the local inspector wants, but here is my plan & question. My walls will be covered in 3/4" plywood up to 8' with a reinforced vapor...

    Trailer winch wiring double check

I made up some long cable with clamps on one end for battery and eyelets on the other to bolt to my winch leads. Just pull them out when I use the winch and pop the hood. My winch is set up in a 2" receiver also.

Porch is sized for a few chairs and a small end table for a 🍺. And of course to cover entry for when it’s raining. Don’t need anything bigger than that. Patio has all the stuff you mentioned up at the house.

While waiting on lift parts, I spread some more recycled concrete to level the building pad. Got it really close but ran short on material. Time to get hauling a few more loads.

My Shop Internet Service Plan - Advise please

House does already have fiber service. I will likely move forward with my plan as mentioned above. Fiber & power come from two different locations. So likely 2 trenches. Water is still being thunk on, don’t need it out there & would only be a frost free yard hydrant at corner of shop. I...
