    Latest hex key technology

Can someone run down for me the latest hi torque ball end hex key technology? I just got in a Wise SBL-1000 metric super ball hex key set. They advertise that their version of ball end keys allow for 'final tightening'. I'm gonna be taking them at their word... and hopefully never approach their...

Got in this Wise SBL-1000 hex key set today. To say they're substantial is to say the least. The 10mm is 227mm x 36mm and the 1.5mm is 80mm x 14mm. They're advertised that their ball end can be used for 'final tightening'. I thought I would find them a home in my USGen mini box but they're too big.

Consider Vessel cushion grip dedicated screwdrivers and Anex replaceable bit handles.

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Found a better place for my US Gen mini. Built a little riser to sit it on out of some cedar and hit that with plasti-dip. It's movable but it doesn't slide around. Gonna put my mikes and calipers and other delicate tools in it. Finally finished my extensions rack, made from pvc similar to...

    Pocket prybars

I just bought a pair of the 5-3/8" Hyper Tough prybars this evening. Got a real urge to go pry something now!

I'm drooling over this, @Andres26tnt ! Anything else to differentiate it from the standard 397? I love my 397, and the blade retention to me is perfect for a friction-fit system. Not sure why Anex would want to jack with that but oh well.

Thanks, but too expensive. I'm just going to hit the local leather/shoe repair shop.

I got this Y-350 tool box today, a little under 14-3/16" and plenty sturdy. Not sure what will live in it, probably will make it my go-box to replace my Husky soft bag. I'm gonna line the bottom in leather to have something different than a rubber liner. I've been impressed with all the Toyo...

They are Tsunoda re-brands. They are NOS as MTC apparently has moved on to non-tool items.

I just got in 'my' third pair of MTC-22 nippers today. This one will actually go into my granddaughter's tool box that I am assembling for her. The square gold reflective sticker inside the handles is an anti-counterfeiting sticker. @superautobacs warned about fake MTC tools, so this is pretty...

I never realized the size of the Toyo cantis, I may have to buy one now. Looks like you've gone all-in on Japanese handtools. (y)

    A/C-powered bluetooth speaker

I listen to their 80s 'side' station KROQ2, despite a little bubbly happy music here and there it plays a pretty good bit of new wave & post punk. I'm stuck in the alt-80s, man! For years, on my way home from work, I'd pass a guy's open garage door in my neighborhood. He always had a tv going...

    A/C-powered bluetooth speaker

I think the cube you're describing is what I want. Looking for somewhere around $30. I'll get what I pay for but no sense paying for high end sound when my hearing is low end.

    A/C-powered bluetooth speaker

Is there a reasonably-priced a/c-powered bluetooth speaker that I could put in my garage? I can find battery-powered bluetooth speakers anytime anywhere, but I want an one I don't have to charge. Reasonably-priced because I don't hear that well and it would be competing with power tools etc. I...

    Tools of Japan

I have two 9mm Olfas, had one 18mm Olfa, and had two Canary DC-190 box cutters at work til the 18mm and one of the Canarys got stolen last summer. I used the 18mm for breaking down freakin tons of boxes til I switched to the Canary (which is the best by far for boxes IMO). I use my 9mm's every...

Nice haul. Yes, the Olfa Trusco LTD-08GCR is cool. Makes sense that Trusco would partnership with Olfa for that one. I prefer straight-up Olfa knives but some people might not have ever heard about Olfa but know the Trusco brand.
