I also picked up a gallon of Crossbow for 49.99 no tax.You can't beat Crossbow for woody plants like blackberry briers, multi floral rose, poison ivy, or brush.The...

    Any 120v Electric Heaters Worth a D#$n?

1500 hundred Watts is what you are limited to on a 110 volt heater. The old cheap milk house style heater will do as well as anything. The infra red eden pure style heaters do a good job in a small area. I would bite the bullet and run a 220 as suggested.

    IR 2235TIMAX VS Nitrocat 1250k

I've got a couple of IR impacts a 3/8 and a 1/2 that have lasted over 15 years of moderate use. I just picked up a Nitro Cat 1150 and love it. It's quieter and it has not failed to break anything loose yet. I took it apart when I first bought it. Looks like it would be an easy rebuild. Imho too...

Why in the South do you see combo Meter/Main panels outside??

Here we still have the breaker box inside the houses. What is on my pole is the meter loop with a big box underneath it (400 amp service) that has two big breaker like disconnects that go to two separate 200 amp breaker boxes inside the house one for the house and one for the shop. Most homes...

    3/4 impact price

Do you have a high quality 1/2" impact. The times that my AirCat 1150 won't break something loose on the farm are few and far between. When I do I just use a 3/4 breaker bar and cheater break them loose and spin them off with the 1/2" gun. I'm probably just a tight azz and just don't want to...

Is a Lifetime Warranty on Hand Tools as good as it seems?

Follow the advice of , "don't buy cheap ****" and you'll never worry about the warranty. I've always bought the best I could afford. In 40 years I've only broke a couple of tools and thatvwas because of abuse or using outside their designed applications.

www.lawnparts.com is where most shops in the midwest buy most of their parts. For an individual ebay or parts tree is usually the most convenient.

Why in the South do you see combo Meter/Main panels outside??

All of the ones I've seen in my area are meter loops with disconnects. Mine is a 400 amp box and meter on the pole. It runs to the house where I have a 200 amp breaker box for the house and a 200 amp breaker box for the shop. I then have a meter and 100 amp disconnect for the barn and other...

    Vise Grip Philosophy

I would certainly pay more for the quality USA product. But many won't. At the farm store I work at part time for something to do(retired),people bitched and bitched about not having enough USA tools so the owners responded and added a bunch of USA made tools and they just sit. People will not...

    Shipping container shed

Too bad your not in my area. There are many poultry farmers going out of business and they will give you the buildings for testing them down and removing them. 40 foot trusses only problem they are 300 ft long. You might look in your area for used poultry house trusses to cut down.
