    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Does the chuck look wobbly or is that with a true bit in it and the bit's wobbly? Most of the Gen 2 hammer drills I have and sold had a wobbly looking chuck but the bit spun straight. I had one person say theirs wasn't true and try to get a partial refund but when I told him he could return it...

It's thinner and shorter. But the head is longer. All depends on how the space your trying to fit in to is shaped. I have both and like/use them both. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No it's not common for most people/HD's to honor the HF coupon. It doesn't hurt to try though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Home Depot sells them on their website. I picked up one for the 2763 and the 2654 on their website. I think it said they weren't carried in stores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Forgot my 2763 at my buddies and wanted to rotate my tires tonight. Of course I couldn't find my 3/8" to 1/2" adapter so I opted for the 1/4" hex to 1/2" adapter and used my 2753. I'm sure it's no surprise but it worked like a champ. Anyways, back to the real world where people have no idea what...

RIDGID lifetime service agreement - is it a scam?

I guess it was a problem and almost a hassle. I said without a problem mainly thinking that I'm good to go and everything's approved now instead of waiting 8 weeks. I should have said once I contacted Teng I got my LSA without a problem. I'll never know if the mail in method would have worked...

Just remember you will have to mod it slightly to fit the hammer drill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I believe the 2.0 and above provide the same performance. The 1.5's are the ones that are the 'standard' performance or whatever you want to call it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry, I should have given details. The 2650 will fit right in but the 2602 you will have to trim a small bit of plastic to make it fit. The case for the 2797-22 is the one you want if you want to carry them both in the same case. Other than that you can get the hard case for the individual...

That's too close for comfort in a track setting I would think. All it takes is some crud or an over tightened one and your sitting there pissed off the M12 version didn't work. For that scenario I would do an 18 volt. In general though, it will take my lug nuts off when torqued to 85 ft lbs...

A bunch of the gen 2's I've had had wobbly looking chucks, especially when the chuck was closed all the way. But almost all of them still appeared to keep the bits straight. The end of the chuck looks like they did a crappy job on some of them too. I've probably gone through 30+ of them and very...

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

Milwaukee is at a ton of online tool retailers. I do wish they were at Lowe's because I dislike Home Depot. Dewalt definitely seems to be at more physical retail stores which is a godsend if you're in a pickle and need something right then. Plus you can actually compare prices at physical retail...

RIDGID lifetime service agreement - is it a scam?

So funny story that I don't remember if I already told. My first combo kit from December that has the brushless impact and hammer drill were denied online. I called and the customer service rep was an *** hat. So I call again and get an EXTREMELY helpful rep named Teng. She tells me, less than a...

RIDGID lifetime service agreement - is it a scam?

Oddly enough I've never had a problem getting an actual person on the line when I had questions about the LSA. I've had to call 5 times in the last 2 months and the only bad part was being on hold but around the holidays I expected it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
