    Mac TaskMaster Scan Tool

An acquaintance has one of these for sale for $150. Updated to 2009, has all cables and case. Says I can try it out if Interested. Newest vehicle we have is 05, and I don't anticipate this changing for awhile. Just used for DIY stuff. I already have a Bosch 1200 scan tool that I get along with...

    Cantilever Tool Box

Snap-On UT-22, and a much loved WW2 era Simonsen pack stuff around nicely. Kennedy cantilever boxes can be found too. Come to think of it, I've got a Kennedy somewhere. $20 garage sale snag. Never used it! Lol

    Maglite

Still got a few. They were the **** back in the day...but that day has come and gone. Idk what brand worked, but the NiteIze brand sure didn't, at least not in the mini maglite. Once I got a Streamlight, I never looked back.

Any funny stories on lost tools?

Went out on a service call to fix air ride seat on a tractor. Working halfway up the steps, laying in through the cab door for about an hour. Got packed up to go, and realize my Snap-On HL138CP pliers are missing. Looked all over hell and finally gave up. Fast forward about 5-6 years. Farmer...

Tapered bearing replacement - can I just replace the cup and not the cone?

Good practice to replace both as a set. That said, I've cut corners, only replacing what was visually bad. Lived to tell about it so far! However....That is a nice old compressor. Is the extra cost of the cone worth the gamble, or hassle of doing the job over?

SK 1/2" drive 36" Breaker Bar

Has this been released yet, or is SK just tempting us with pre-sale ads? I need this in the worst way!

    Proto 234 Pliers

Agreed Woody 73. Between the Knipex and the Snap On HL138CP, are the two best compound leverage pliers. The old Eiffel Plierwrench ain't too shabby, especially considering the era it came from.

    Proto 234 Pliers

Snagged a pair at a pawnshop for $10 over the weekend. Never seen them before, and I can tell why...they are about as clumsy to use as they are to look at. Still had to have them for my collection. Here is a representative photo.

"Charging Station" for cordless tools. Show them please.

My chargers are mounted to a piece of plywood that has a strip outlet attached, and hangs on the wall. I can grab it and take wherever I need my chargers.

    Anyone still have a Snap-On CT30?

I had like the first one anybody around here had seen. Used it hard for years with 12v batteries. Had it rebuilt, then my batteries died, but I've still got it. Worth getting a battery rebuild or not?

Spin Wrench The worlds stress free wrench!

Neat concept, but what do you do when the fastener doesn't free spin, such as on rusted threads, or ones with sealer or Loctite applied? How do you use this to break loose fasteners? I appreciate your innovation, but in 20+ years turning wrenches, I haven't seen a situation where your tool would...

    Cummins Industrial Tools- Socket Sets

Cummins used to come around with semi trucks, doing parking lot sale type shows, traveling through the Midwest. Maybe elsewhere too. Stuff ran the gamut from serviceable to total ****. I think Harbor Freight kinda killed their business plan.
