Looking for suggestions for best bang for the buck. Need one to finish out some 80% AR15 lowers.
Not above having to do some tweaking to make a so-so one work acceptably, if such a thing can be done.
Worked with a clown that never had lunch money, but a shitload of this stuff. never did figure him out, didn't have half of what he needed, but all this gold plated ****, sitting unused.
Here's mine. Rides along in a Husky tool bag with duct tape, baling wire, tube of silicone, and some other goodies, like old Fluke meter, test light, couple feet of 5/8" heater hose, and a HF scanner.
I used a Larin tire changer from TSC for years, and got along fine, but upgraded to a Bishman rim clamp machine.
For over 17" stuff, I use a slide hammer bead breaker and pair of 18" spoons from Northern Tool.
Also have a pair of Ken Tool double ended tire spoons I like a lot for car tires.
Thanks guys. I got these at Menards. Only place around that sells them individually, other than Fastenal, at like 3x the price.
Any places to get a good deal?
