My 3/4" Plywood walls, inside metal building

That looks awesome. What made you decide on plywood vs. drywall or panelling?. It must come at a cost premium

Fellers...cabinets and barnwood? paint? laminate? i need advice.

I would still use a clear finish, don’t sand the doors, use a wire brush to take down the sharp points and maintain the weathered look. Make sure your outside corners are rounded so they are easier to wipe with a cloth later. Definitely do not use laminate, on one side only. Laminate is ugly IMO.

Network cable from house to detached garage

I did that by running regular internet cable in a conduit with no issues for the last three years. One my second router, I used the same network name and password so that I have no issues with connectivity going between the house and the garage. Has worked like a charm.

Above 1200 Sq/FT Out on Quaker Road

I'm just north of you (Canada) and was previously jealous of how little snow you've got. Now I'm grateful that the storm that whalloped you, missed me!

Anybody every DIY a bumper step for a truck?

Thats a good point about the diamond plate vs. expanded wire, though.

Anybody every DIY a bumper step for a truck?

Thinking about this for a project over the holidays while I have some time off. Anyone ever do this? Would like to make it fold out, and attach to the frame.

How Much Will I Save If I Buy a Jointer and Planar?

You will save exactly $0. In fact you will spend more in getting power to the tools, dust collection, dollies to move them around, tooling to support you new toys. You will definitely have some fun, make some cool projects and learn some stuff though - you should do it

Would you begin framing a large shop this late in the year?

We frame all year round here in Winnipeg.we try to avoid pouring when it gets too far below freezing cause it costs more to keep your pour warm. If you’re sensible about it you’ll be fine. Heck in Missouri we might have to put on a long sleeve shirt.

Will a 3ah battery work on a cordless torque wrench?

I think I would change platforms to Milwaukee. But I would do it slowly, as my Makita stuff still works - it's just old and tired - and I don't need to use them full time like I used to.

Will a 3ah battery work on a cordless torque wrench?

I should also say that all my batteries are 3ah, and all the torque wrenches with batteries all come with a 5ah, so that's why I'm asking the question

Will a 3ah battery work on a cordless torque wrench?

I have all Makita cordless tools. They are pretty much worn out from a life of being a cabinet maker but I'm also a hobbyist maker of things and as a result I'm also a taker-aparter-of things. Hence, I need an impact wrench. Don't want to go airpower because I don't have and don't really want a...

    Drawers? Help

With the first drawers I ever made, I took some liberties with the overall sizing thinking it 'wasn't that critical'. So I made the drawers again after they didn't fit. The most important part about drawers is understanding what the outside dimension needs to be so you can allow your hardware...

Thanks guys for the replies. I'll look into some of the products you recommend, see if I can go touch and feel at the local hardware store.

    Good gutter protection?

Looking for recommendation on gutter protectors. Are they worth it? What is a good design? Do you have a specific product recommendation given my situation? On one side of my house and garage there is a huge Black Poplar which drops tons of sticky seeds in the spring, and loads of leaves in...
