Cantilever gate all the way. I have one here in Manitoba and we get a ton of snow. Mostly it just pushes it out of the way but if it gets real deep a quick pass with the shovel takes care of it.

If the dog pee is not too bad, use some bleach to clean and a power planer to flatten. Expect to hit metal fasteners.

Never mind the floor. Check the walls - are they plumb? While it is not difficult to build something out of level, it can be a challenge to build a whole building consistently out of plumb, unless a person has never picked up a hammer.

Build them out of a solid slab exterior door. Add 1x4x1/2” boards, the species of your choosing, as a veneer to each side. Use a router to cut the v grooves. Or cut the v groove on a table saw before you add them to the slab.

Anything Richelieu is most likely going to be offshore. And - any side mount drawer slide with soft close is garbage, regardless of brand. If you want soft close you need to start at undermount. If you want cheap basic functionality for a garage without soft close then I’d use side mount slides.
