Subbed. Great thread so far. I've got six 30 inch Gladiator cabinets to hang and I don't want to use the Gladiator rack system. Did you size your framing to match the length and width of the five cabinets you used?

I ordered some Gladiator RTA cabinets from Home Depot and they arrived pristine (private shipping company). I ordered a Gladiator premier toolbox from Sears and (separately) a Craftsman corner shelf and both arrived via UPS with boxes that looked completely trashed and, of course, major damage...

Definitely a dangerous place for me to go when unaccompanied by a voice of reason (my wife).

+1 for the Cleveland Ave store. The Sears Hardware store on Henderson in Dublin usually has some pretty decent clearance stock available, too. I've found the staff at both stores helpful as well.

I think the price including the combination of the steel wall panel and various bins is pretty good.

Exactly... For example, I bought $1000 worth of gift cards from Cardpool for $900. I then bought $1000 worth of stuff from HD, but went to HD through FatWallet, getting 3% off the purchase (of $1000). I also get 1% cash back from Amex, so I basically paid $860 for what would have been $1000...

Awesome tip, thanks so much. Combining this discount with Fatwallet and my Amex cash back saved me a ton of $$$ @ HD (and Sears as soon as the e-card # arrives in my email.) I'll definitely be using Cardpool when the Holidays come around this year.

I think each store's stock varies. You can check online to see what's available for local pickup to save on shipping. As far as what they display, I'd guess that's definitely variable depending on how much room they have, etc...
