Finding "real" concrete "finishers" can be tricky. There is a lot more to concrete then making it appear flat. Best to ask for references from 10+ years ago and see how those slabs are holding up. I bad concrete job is pretty unforgiving!

I'd be patient, don't by a harbor freight or china machine. There is a lot of quality stuff out there, and paying a little more up front is always better then regretting.

I am with Fyrme, JD incorporates a lot of "special" parts in there equipment. Keeping your options limited during repairs. I don't want to bust anyones "bubble", but the JD's from the box stores aren't "real" JD's. Probably be just as good or better off with a Craftsmen.

Everything was so overly built back then, this piece out lived it's purpose. It is lost in our dispencipal society, only to be repurposed as the art it truly is!
