A Luxury Tool Bag, Would you Buy One?

I just paid $179 for a Veto Pro PAC OT MC. I guess you can call that a luxury tool bag. After getting it loaded up, my only regret was not buying one sooner. A good investment in my opinion.

Channel lock 415 vs knipex pliers wrench

How do the 415 compare for use as an adjustable wrench to the Knipex pliers wrench? I own 2 pairs of Knipex but none of the Channllock 415’s.

Somebody Has to Say It....I don't like SK Round Head Ratchets

Here is what SK should get working on Longer tools, in other words some XL length wrenches, along the lines of the Snap ON hi performance lengths. IF SK would make their ratcheting wrenches in a double box head design in a very long version they would rule the wrench world. Length =...

Yeah I ordered it a few days ago for $69, then yesterday it was on sale for $54. Go figure. Hope I can fit my channellock pliers, Klein screwdrivers, drill bits, pry bars, hammer, combination square, chalk line, & dewalt drill/impact drivers.

    Duluth crate master

I have one ordered, should arrive tomorrow, seems like a more stable setup than a bucket system, just hope it holds a fair amount of tools.

How to bore smooth hole in blocks.

Ok thanks. Would a diamond core bit require a special drill? I currently have a 20v max with 5.0 amp hour batteries.

How to bore smooth hole in blocks.

What is an SDS bit? Is that just a regular masonry bit that is used with a hammer drill.

How to bore smooth hole in blocks.

What tool or bits should I use to make clean smooth hole in foundation blocks. Need to run a 3/4" water pipe from outside meter to under house (crawlspace foundation). So I'm thinking boring hole 1 inch- 1 1/4" to allow for spray foam insulation around water line. Do I need a rotary...

    Water Heaters, Tank vs Tankless

Can't really believe than anyone has low electric rates anymore. The good thing about the tankless is when we are not using hot water, it doesn't use any power. However when hot water is turned on, it uses a lot of power. Time will tell, Hopefully the periods of non use will outweigh the...

    Water Heaters, Tank vs Tankless

Update: Since this is new construction. Electrician says we should go with a 400 AMP Service ( Two 200 AMP service panels) for the home to be able to go with the tankless WH. This will cost us about $500 extra for us. We decided to go ahead and go this route. The Tankless unit I will go...

    Water Heaters, Tank vs Tankless

Home depot has the Rheem Marathon 50 gallon for $1148. Is this a decent price. I don't have any Menards close to me. In fact I'd have to drive about 100 miles just to get to a Home depot. Locally all we have are Lowes and Sears.

    Water Heaters, Tank vs Tankless

The tankless electric water heater I was looking at used 3 40 AMP breakers, my electrician saying that if we go this route he will need to upgrade from a 200 amp service panel to a 400 amp. An extra $500 on his end, not to mention extra $ with the utility company. At this point not sure its...

They basically have most all their sockets on the list to choose from 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 drive, 6 point, or 12 point, deep, shallow, etc. You get to pick one socket, add to cart, go through checkout process, add a promo code that they send you by email, about 3-5 days later I get mine via Fed-Ex.

    sk premium membership

Its good if your occasionally buying odd things here and there, it gets you free shipping, plus the occasional promo code for decent savings sent to your email. And the free socket every month is cool. I figure 12 free sockets for $50 is probably not a bad deal by itself. There is some...
