Feedback from users of SK X-Frame wrenches

Just got my metric set in today from tooldiscounter.com, awesome, flawless. WOW!, super smooth action, feel really nice in hand, and to my surprise, they have pretty good length, which for me is a big +, I always prefer longer tools whenever possible. My SAE set should be here tomorrow. I'm...

Hello, I am needing a Long size #1 phillips screwdriver. 16" in length to be exact. Would prefer a USA brand, or really anything that's not made in China. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks Mike B.

    Quick grab socket set.

Semi deep, hadn't even thought of that, and most common sizes, that's another good idea.

    Quick grab socket set.

Making up a small quick grab socket set (3/8 drive). I have a Lisle 3/8 magnetic socket carrier, it holds both shallow and deep sockets. Should I carry 3/8 Metric Shallow on one side and 3/8 Metric deep on the other? OR 3/8 Metric Shallow with 3/8 SAE Shallow. This is just for a quick...

    Craftsman made in USA

I have some USA Socket sets from about 2005-2006, they have the sizes etched on the sockets. I have the 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 sets (Sockets Only) all 6 point, all like new hardly ever used. Wouldn't mind to try and sell but wonder if it would be worth it. I don't just want to give them away...

    SK 1/2 drive breaker bar

Has anyone used the SK 30" Breaker Bar? (model # 41656). Considering a new 24" Snap On, but during my search I noticed that SK makes a 30" in the 1/2" drive size. The S.O. is $118 Vs the Longer SK at $70. I've always been one to think Longer is better when it comes to wrenches, ratchets...

    Dewalt 20V Max Lith-Ion 1/2" Impact Wrench DCF889B

I also own this tool, also because I was already invested in the 20v max tool lineup. I have the one with the Detent pin, very nice, stout, plenty of torque. I have yet to encounter a lug it hasn't busted loose. I carry it with me on every road trip, vacation, towing the boat, etc. I would...

Knipex Tools 25% Off with Free Shipping

Broke down and ordered the 7 & 10" Knipex pliers wrenches. Hope they live up to the hype. I be using them to tighten down garden hose connections when hooking up to the pressure washer, a job I usually use my Channellock 810N adjustable wrench for.

    S.O. Ratcheting screwdriver

    S.O. Ratcheting screwdriver

Almost pulled the trigger a time or two, really like the long versions. Are they worth the coin? Are they magnetic tip? If so is it a strong magnet that will hold fasteners well?

    Advice for new Auto Techs

Got a 13 year old very interested in classic cars and mechanic work, I'll do my best to convince him to go into Nursing and become an RN. The blue collar trades pay has not kept up with other industries. Wages have become stagnant, benefits are not that great if you have any at all.
