    6 point vs. 12 point sockets

    a 12 point socket will do a 6 point and a 12 point fastener a 6 point socket will do a 6 point fastener that being said, I have both.. shallow and deep lol

    Should a Torque Wrench Be Used When Changing Brake Pads

    Im an apprentice mechanic and i dont torque brake components nor have i ever seen anyone do it.. but ive also seen mechanics leave them loose so it probably isnt a bad idea

    Has ratcheting wrenches made non ratcheting wrenches obsolete?

    ive ran into the bulky ratcheting wrench problem many times.. like while cramped in a customer car with ****** plastic panels bent out of the way, can hardly see, back is sore.. such is life :D

    Why are American's tool boxes so big?

    I get told in the shop that i need a bigger box because i store tools on top of tools.. sure, having a nice big snap on box would be nice but having an extra 6-7k in my bank account is nicer Or maybe im just cheap lol

    got this bag with a pliers set and i love it. i use it as a lunch bag but it doubles as a tool bag when i feel like tinkering at home. the bag by itself is $10

    Been on a bit of a tool buying binge recently before I head off to school, picked up the 1/4" impact from a tech I work with for $40 and the air ratchet is a 1/4" ingersoll rand. It's already saved my *** more than once and I've only had it a week!
