    You can apply that logic to absolutely anything you buy used. I make reasonable efforts to ensure that I don’t buy stolen property. I couldn’t care less if money is owed.

    Pawn shops are pretty diverse. A good one is great, but a crappy one is pretty bad. I find that corporate chain shops are far easier to make deals with than mom and pops. The corporate stores work on volume and interest, and their employees don’t have any skin in the game. As for marketplace...
