They can be a little wide, but more than make up for it in how slim they typically are.

That’s a good point, and likely true until they start getting burned by Wright refusing to reimburse them.

And that’s the problem I have. If you don’t want to warranty stuff, don’t sell it under the guise of a Lifetime Warranty.

Does Proto advertise a lifetime warranty without exclusion?

Then why still advertise it? Why still charge the same prices?

So… a company, like Wright, is focused almost entirely on commercial and industrial users. That company offers a written lifetime warranty but should exclude any commercial or industrial users from that warranty? Make that make sense.

You can step into an Endura for $100, and it’s an indescribable step up from the Byrd. Spyderco does have a Chinese line consisting of the Resilience, Persistence, Ambitious, and Persistence that represent a very large step up from the Byrd line and come very close to the standard Spyderco...

while a decent enough knife, don’t let that Byrd sour you on Spyderco quality. It’s a knife built to a price point, in the same vein as traditional Spydercos.

I was the exact same way. I ordered a few for gifts years ago, and was stunned when they arrived. I have used them for everything from cutting carpet to skinning deer and they excel at all of them.

Today I decided to carry my Case Longhouse. I’m pretty impressed with this little knife as a “in betweener,” bridging the gap between a traditional folder and a modern pocket clip knife. CPM20sv steel and Micarta scales…just a neat little knife.

I love MoraKniv. I carry a Mora in every vehicle and every bag. I love the carbon steel blades. A good dose of cold blue and the occasional oil, and they hold up very well.
