Looking to source 2’x2’ porcelain tile in black and white

Looking to do something on my garage floor and I feel like laying tile in a black and white checkerboard pattern is what I want. Anyone know where to source tiles this big that would hold up in a garage setting? It’s a working garage so I think I need the good stuff in terms of hardness...

Are ORB hydraulic fittings just NPT with an O ring?

well, I cobbled together what I had and made it work. I'll just have to order a couple of new hoses as they are about 2" too long. I tee'd out of the pump instead of the helm. I had plenty of ORB5 fittings to make it work. Thanks everyone for all your help, especially Steve. sorry, the...

Are ORB hydraulic fittings just NPT with an O ring?

Thank you Steve! Great links, especially the one outlining different fittings. Running 1500 psi max, at least that's what the hose should be rated for. Most likely less than 1000 So that last link was an ORB6 male to a ORB5 female, correct? That would be awesome and work out perfect if so.

Are ORB hydraulic fittings just NPT with an O ring?

This is what I'm looking for except the ORB5 needs to be an ORB6. The 3/8 compression ends need to be 9/16"-24 extra fine thread From the Seastar website: "All SeaStar Manual Hydraulic steering systems utilize the same style of fittings for all applications. These are 3/8″ compression...

Are ORB hydraulic fittings just NPT with an O ring?

I'm in the process of installing an auto pilot on my boat and seems there is an ORB 6 fitting on the helm pump. Like the title of the thread states, is an ORB fitting just an NPT fitting with an o ring? I'm specifically looking for an ORB 6 tee with the other 2 ends of the tee being a 3/8...

Need idea for garage cabinets show me what you got!

https://pacificpanel.com/garage-cabinets/ I bought a bunch from these guys.. They really exceeded my expectations. I was building things out and had a very short time frame. Blew my mind they were able to accommodate me. I rented a box truck and picked them up myself

Irrigation Question - Adding Drip to Raised Planters

I'll be your huckleberry. Pipe sizing is based on basic hydro-dynamics. On my property my main runs were 1" and then reduced down as I tapped off the 1" run. I'm on 3 acres, so my runs were long, hence 1" to start with. I also have raised beds (8 total) and ran a line for each bed at the end of...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Casa de Frijolee - SoCal to Hawaii - gear head style

Use non shrink grout after plumbing/leveling the posts. It has 14,000 psi compressive strength. That's what I did on my install. Shim it plumb, then mix the grout per the instructions and pack by hand under the shimmed lift foot. Home Depot sells it. I had concerns about my concrete and anchor...

Installing lift outside, good or bad idea?

Mines outside and has been for awhile with no problems. I bought mine used because Benpak said a new one outside voids the warranty

    Siding / Stone Veneer

I've used El Dorado stone on exterior surfaces butting up to corner pieces but they were under a protected porch roof. I've also used cement backer board to adhere the cultured stone to on another project that is outdoor. I used thin set and so far, several years into it with not one stone has...

Garden hose 100 foot run on top of chain link fence

They make black PE with stainless fittings. I'm not talking about drip line tubing, I'm talking about the same stuff they run yellow gas lines with. Gas line PE is not uv protected but the black is uv safe and specifically designed for long runs across the ground or buried.
