Neighbors dont like my barn project - threaten zoning appeal

Been through this and I haven't even started building yet. Sitting on 2.7 acres and when we bought it was covered in cedar (ash juniper) trees so thick you couldn't walk the property. These are also a major fire hazard as it takes very little to ignite them. Filed the proper permits...

    My garage odyssey

Love it!!!! I've got a SP1 that I race mostly in Texas. Still trying to learn how to drive it fast as it's so much different from a long hood 911.

    Bastrop 40x60

Looking awesome!!! We are dealing with the crazy neighbor lady. She has filed complaints (because we cleared cedar's) with every city, county and state agency and I estimate has cost me about $10K. The latest is according to the city (Austin) is we need erosion control before we plant grass -...

Building a 24’ x 30’ garage in the Texas Hill Country

You must be outside of Travis county :) I am just about done removing the cedars from my property. When we burned the mulch (with a permit) some people and really 1 in particular went nuts. That 1 person has also filed numerous complaints for removing the cedars as well. Cost me a lot of...

102x160 custom car and restoration shop

Damn!!!! Too bad you are in Michigan, my '88 Mustang needs some love although I still drive it most days as my daily. Got some twist which has messed up the driver door alignment. Has sub-frames but still got the twist.

    Bastrop 40x60

Next week I start step 1 - tree clearing. Having a cedar eater come in and remove all the cedars (under 19" diameter at 40" height) from my 2.7 acres. They will mulch and rake the cedar remains. There are some gorgeous oaks on the property that will be visible once all these damn cedars are gone.

TAMU grad? You trying to build within Austin city limits? I've seen numerous builders refuse to work within ACL.

    BmwTie’s Werkshop

I've raced with RMVR guys at Hallett on multiple occasions when I was racing with CVAR. Great group. Took the old 911 off the track because of the value and am now racing a 944 with PCA. 944 isn't vintage eligible.

50 by 60 design and layout... 48 by 68 build

Looks like you are pulling the trailer with a single axle truck. How do you like it? I'm still on a open trailer but really want a 36-38' gooseneck with bathroom as you mentioned. I've got a 2004 GMC Duramax that I love - 20mph in town, 15mph with open trailer and no DEF. Love the garage...

    Quickjack setup and question

+1 on removing the rubber blocks. I leave my QJ on the floor and drive my 914 over it which clears no problem as long as the rubber blocks are not on the jack. Same issue with the race car.
