Duker this is awesome. As someone who grew up in Kingwood, 3rd graduating class of KHS and first to never have to be bussed to Humble, and spent much of my youth on Livingston this is really exciting to follow.
What is your ceiling height?
I'm in need of lift (or two). The wife's '72 911 will come back from paint soon and my '72 911 race car is being reverted back to a street car. Will need to stack both.
I'm in a similar situation. 2 '72 911's and a '74 914 with tow vehicle, wife's daily (btw she owns 1 911 and the 914) and my daily and we are moving to a 2 car garage.
But... my big question is.... what seats are in the '69 and where did you get them covered?
Has anyone added a bay to their existing garage?
The new house has a 22x26 with enough space to add another bay. Wondering what the costs on this would be? Safe to assume $50/sqft or something different with the tear down of a brick wall then adding same brick color.
I got a second quote for $950, waiting for verification that the 8500 is included. Apparently the wife didn't like the "let's knock it down and build a 4 car" idea :)
Thanks for the feedback!!
NJMP always amazes me. I grew up less than a mile from the airport where my father worked from '68-79. Not too shabby for an old glass town :) Cannot wait to get my car up there for a PCA Club Race in the future.
First - tried the search but didn't see a spring system quite like this :)
Buying a new house at the end of May and need to convert the garage doors to high lift and install LM8500's (2 single bay doors) so I can add a 4 post lift. The garage size is 21x26 with 112" ceilings. Here's the issue...
I'm looking for the same thing. Would prefer someplace where I could install a 2 post lift. Found 1 place but they were adamant about not having anything plugged in when you weren't in the space. Which is not helpful when you would like trickle chargers on your batteries.
My problem is we...
