Hey guys-anyone know anything about this vise? It is for sale locally at a reasonable price, and is described as unmarked. The bulbous lead screw tells me it is old, but other than that, it is a mystery to me. Any info would be appreciated!

Hey all, I've been checking out this forum for a long time now. So much good info...I'm hoping for some help with this box. It appears to have been military, but I can't make much sense out of the stenciling. I've done a mini-resto job on it, while trying to preserve the stenciling(No pics yet...
