    Garage door opener woes

House built in the 80s has a genie opener. It’s stopped opening and I thought a switch would cure it. While installing the switch, the opener activated, up, down, whatever. Finish and switch won’t work. I take the switch off, wait a few minutes and touching the wires fires it up, open, close...

    Dewalt DCD777 drill slipping?

I don’t use it in anything other than wood. I have had it a couple of years, but it’s all of a sudden slipping when I tighten the keyless chuck or when under load. Is this a normal wearing issue or did I do something?

    New paragraphs & capitalized sentences.

When I type a post on my iPad, it doesn’t capitalize new sentences, when I use a “carriage return” to start a paragraph. It’s certainly a first world problem, just wanted to mention it.

I have the HF model but the leads keep snapping off them. Are there any under $50 models that are any good? Thank you for reading.

    A/C Freon supply line

So our air conditioner guy thinks we have a leak in the line from the attic to the outside condenser unit. Provided a cost of $1500 to replace the line. Attic is above the second story, and my guess is there is 40 feet of line required. How does the price sound?
