Vise identification help - can’t find anything about it

Does anyone recognize this logo cast on the side of this large vise I just picked up? It says Chicago Heavy Duty and has a lightning bolt in the middle of it but I can’t find anything out about it. It probably weighs between 50-70 lbs. Thanks in advance for any help! -John

Hi guys, it's been a few years since I've been around here. Little ones take up a lot of my time and I have been focusing on other things ther than my machines and tools. I just got this new project yesterday though and thought some of you may appreciate it. Not sure of the year yet and it...

    Craftsman 106.152680 Air Compressor/Paint Sprayer

My neighbor was tossing this Craftsman 106.152680 so I took it and thought it would be worth a shot to try to run a little die grinder that I would like to get. It says 6.7 CFM @ 90 PSI on the side so I assume it will be sufficient to run a little Chicago Pneumatic CP875 1/4-Inch 90 Degree...

Old Atlas Disc Sander - I think...

Hey guys, picked this up yesterday at a yard sale. I was pretty excited when the guy said he wanted $10 for it. It's rough looking and has a homemade base and table but it was made well and runs perfectly smooth and quite. Came with two different miter gauges. My question is, do you guys think...

South Bend Drill Press - Quill and chuck disassembly

Hi guys, any advice on getting all this apart (quill, chuck and spindle assembly)? There is a little collar with a allen set screw in it that slides down the spindle to the top of the quill. I took the set screw out but nothing seems to want to move. I don't want to possibly damage any of this...

Anyone know what brand this pulley may be?

I just bought an old South Bend Drill Press and it has this 3rd pulley on top of the column. It seems to fit perfectly and spins fine, although there is no belt for it currently. I'm not positive now that it will actually work as it doesn't appear to be tensionable like the original one for this...

Detla Milwaukee Production table assembly broke

Hey guys, I want to get some opinions. Last night I started disassembling my old Delta Milwaukee DP220 and discovered a crack which quickly turned into a break. I might have helped it a little by pulling on it in the visa a little bit. Anyways, I was thinking of just grinding the old weld off...

Moving the belt on a Delta DP220 to change speeds

I can't for the life of me figure out how to move the belt to change speeds on my newly acquired drill press short of taking off the pulley on the motor. I've been googling all day and nothing. Maybe I'm just blind or maybe I really do have to remove the motor spindle pulley. Thanks in advance...
