Help tub faucet repair - puller tool broke

The bathtub/shower has been leaking hot water, so my plan was/is to rebuild the faucet stem. I’m stuck in step one (removing the handle), as my cheap puller tool came apart. Now the end of the tool is stuck in the stem and the faucet handle is still stuck on. Any advice?

Does anyone know the weight of a 6x8 Tuff shed?

Any idea on the weight of a 6’x8’ Tuff shed? I need to move one through a narrow area with an overhang, which means I will be laying the shed on its back. The area is too narrow for a trailer, so I expect to use some sort of cart/wagon.

Truck bed crane with Tonneau cover

Anyone have a bed mounted crane/lift but also using a tonneau cover? I think it's time I get one, but I'm not sure it will clear my ARE fiberglass bed cover. Something like this one from Northern Tool.

Rescued a Craftsman ratchet & a bucket of sockets

I came across these when cleaning out a family barn recently. The bucket was left out in the rain and the ratchet (and sockets) sat in water for at least a few days. It’s made in the USA so I couldn’t just leave it. I sprayed WD-40 into the ratchet mechanism and it seems to function pretty...

45T Craftsman ratchet in 320 pc set

Any input on the ratchet I've been seeing in some of the Crafstman sets that Sears has on sale? It's not the 36T raised panel, it's not the 75T, and it's not the 84 tooth. For some reason I want to say it's a 45 tooth. The one I saw at the store was in the 320 piece set.

    Mounting a shelf with magnets

I'm using magnets to mount an aluminum rack to the dryer, but I need some sort of friction between the magnets and the surface. I'm looking to accomplish something similar to the Harbor Freight racks. I bought magnets from HF, but I can't find the rubber covers. Any ideas? This is the aluminum...

    Craftsman 75T vs 84T ratchet

I was at Sears buying a 75 tooth ratchet when the "thin profile" ratchet caught my eye because it said it is an 84 tooth ratchet. The manager told me he prefers the 75T because the mechanism is better. I was about to pay more for the 84T, but he talked me out of it. Anyone have any input on...

    Tool Truck Flipped Over

An article in the paper said a "box truck" flipped over today. I thought people on this site might be interested in the type of "box truck." Poor guy. This happened 30-40 miles north of New Orleans. link to article on NOLA.com...

    Going rate for install

How much do HVAC techs generally charge in your area for an install? I know prices will vary by region, etc, but I'm just looking for ideas. I need to replace the entire unit in my house. It's a small house, so it's only 3 tons, and I've already got a line on purchasing the equipment. I just...

    Louisiana Lurker finally signed up

I've been lurking on this site off & on for a few years now, mostly drooling over the impressive garages/buildings on here. It took me a while to sign up because I never really felt I had much to contribute. I've learned a lot from this site and now that I finally signed up, I spend even more...
